Marriage

Prenuptial preparation lasts a minimum of 6 months (depending on your situation)before your desired wedding date.

To start the process you must turn in:

1. A complete wedding application 

2. Original and recently dates copies of your Sacramental file ( Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation.)

3. Please note that in the case that you or your fianceé had a previous marriage (civil or in the Church), you will need to start your process EARLIER than 6 months

4. For those couples that have been married civilly for a long time, please contact the parish office for the process.

To start your process, please start gathering the following documents:

1. Original and recently dated copies of yours and your fianceé's Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation

2. If you are not a registered parishioner or live in Valley Glen/North Hollywood area, then you will need to get a Parish Permission letter from your local parish, even if you're not part of that church.

Contact the parish office if one or more of the following apply to you:

1.  If you or your fianceé are missing one or more of the Sacraments mentioned above.

2. If your fianceé is not Catholic but wishes to marry a Catholic under the Catholic rite.

3. If you or your fianceé had been married before to another person, either civilly or in the Church.
