Adult Faith Formation program

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults

The Order of Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is for those adults who wish to become part of the Catholic Church by receiving the Sacraments of Christian Initiation.

This program was known before as the Rite of Initiation for Adults (RCIA), but this was changed on November 2021, by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles is now asking to reflect this change, in order to “invite candidates and catechumens into a continuous process of spiritual formation.”

Enrollment for 2025-2026 opens in the Fall
